ABOUT: The Bronx Zoo’s new exhibit, Madagascar!
June 20th will mark the exciting grand opening of a brand new Madagascar! exhibit at the Bronx Zoo!  The exhibit will be housed in the old Lion House, which has been closed for two decades and will be the first historic landmark in New York City to be totally “green”!

This exhibit will prove to be one of the most exciting yet. Madagascar! will immerse guests in the breathtaking realm of the world’s fourth largest island, off Africa’s east cost, home to a startling array of endemic flora and fauna such as the fascinating ring-tailed lemur, radiated tortoise, giant crocodile and unique mammalian predator know as the fossa. The exhibit will not only delight visitors with a display of colorful exotic creatures, but also inspire a conservation ethic.

ABOUT: Madagascar!-PMQ Promotion
The Bronx Zoo and PMQ have teamed up to create an exciting Madagascar-themed pizza box topper promotion designed to encourage consumers to visit the Bronx Zoo’s new Madagascar! exhibit.

The Bronx Zoo and PMQ encourage independent pizzerias to participate in an exciting promotion!  The Bronx Zoo will create Madagascar-themed pizza box toppers featuring unique imagery and wildlife from Madagascar along with a special promotion code that consumers can use to download discounted tickets from the Bronx Zoo’s website to visit Madagascar! at the Bronx Zoo.

The promotion is open to the first 100 independent pizzerias with locations in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) that sign-up for this exciting promotion. There is NO COST to participate and each participating pizzeria will receive 10 FREE tickets to the Bronx Zoo!!

Participants will receive a shipment of 4,000 box toppers at the beginning of July.  All you have to do is affix these box toppers onto each pizza delivery box sent out between July and August (or until the supply runs out).

Please note that should a distributor or sponsor sign up to participate in the promotion, the distributor will be responsible for producing and sending you the Madagascar-branded box toppers and possibly some additional materials that we request you put up in your locations such as posters and tent cards. PMQ will communicate with you directly should a distributor or sponsor sign-up.

Timing

• The Madagascar! exhibit opens June 20th

• Box Top Promotion Period: July – August (promotion starts as soon as you receive the materials and will last until your supply runs out)

• Four Thousand (4,000) box toppers - (5.5" x 8.5")

Bronx Zoo Tickets:
For participating, the Bronx Zoo will provide ten (10) complimentary tickets to each participating pizzeria.  (Adult tickets are valued at $14)

The Bronx Zoo will mail out your tickets to the address you list on the attached sign-up sheet by July 2, 2008.

Customer Special Offer:
Participating pizzerias will be given a promotion code (located on the box toppers) that will be offered exclusively to participants’ customers. Consumers can use the code to purchase discounted tickets from the Bronx Zoo’s website (www.bronxzoo.com).

Exposure:
The Bronx Zoo will be promoting the PMQ / Bronx Zoo Madagascar! Pizza Box Topper Promotion on their “Special Offers” website page. The Bronx Zoo will include a promotional paragraph about the promotion and link to a special page on the PMQ website with a list of all participating pizzerias. 

The Bronx Zoo will include a description of the promotion in their July e-newsletter sent to 165,000+ consumers in the tri-state area.  The promotional mention will link to the PMQ website page listing out the participating pizzerias. 

All You Have To Do….

All we ask is that you affix the box toppers to your pizza boxes, hand them out to your customers and encourage your customers to visit Madagascar! at the Bronx Zoo.  It's that simple!
